Starting to experience Salzburg

It was rainy heading out this morning, but we donned rain gear and headed out from our HomeExchange place, a remarkable mid-century apartment in the outskirts of Salzburg. An easy and inexpensive ride to the Altstadt.

Fortunately, the rain tapered off in early afternoon, so we just wandered around, rather than visiting the Stadtnuseum, our original rainy day plan. Lovely. 

The Christmas markets are even nicer than the ones in Vienna. Wonderful to see them in the last days before Christmas.
